This year for our Children's Program the theme is "Let Your Light Shine".
Along with that theme, we will be studying a different missionary every night.
One of those missionaries is Amy Carmichael.
Miss Carmichael was a very Bright Light for the Lord in India. With the Lord's direction,
She was able to rescue many children from the temple's of the false gods of India.
Along with caring for these children, she wrote many books and poems.
One of my favorite of her poems is Flame of God-
"Give me the Love that leads the way
The Faith that nothing can dismay
The Hope no disappointments tire
The Passion that’ll burn like fire
Let me not sink to be a clod
Make me Thy fuel, Flame of God”

It is my prayer that the Lord would make me to be His Fuel!
