Making a Stitch

I just want to say - PRAISE THE LORD!!!!

You might know, and then again you might not know, that I have a photography business - Pictured Creations. I started it about 4 months ago, and since then I've been wondering how I would be able to advertise.

Well, the Lord provided! A music teacher from long ago called me yesterday and asked if I would do head shots for a drama camp she is teaching next week. In return for me doing the head shots, she is going to let me give out my business card to the families, she will put an ad in the program for the play, and she will let me set up a booth to showcase my work at the performance! WOW!! I am ecstatic! God is so good!

I just had to share how good God is this morning!

Starting Out

Hi! Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
My name is Kristin Baine. I love re-enacting the War Between the States (or American Civil War).
I also play the piano for my church and lead the youth choir.
I love to sew, and even have a business - Graceful Boutique, which is part of the reason I named my blog A Stitch in Time.
I also do photography, and have a business in that called Pictured Creations.
I work part-time at a local home school curriculum store - Curriculum Exchange.
And I'm a free-lance wedding coordinator.

I was home schooled K5-12th grade, and enjoyed almost every minute of it. :) When it came time for Algebra, I didn't enjoy it too much.

My life is very busy, and it seems like I have a long life to live, but in the broad expanse of things, my life is just another Stitch in Time.
The Bible says - "A thousand years is as a day, and a day is as a thousand years". What our lives really boil down to is that little dash on the tombstone. Your born (????), you live (-), you die (????). And whether you live for one minute, or one hundred years, every bit of your life fits into that hyphen because, your life is just a stitch in time. So how will you spend your stitch?

Follow me on my journey as I live my Stitch in Time.
